Chloe Chai

Chloe is an aspiring artist who is currently pursuing a Diploma of Fine Arts at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, majoring in Chinese ink and oil medium. Her works are usually abstract, but she also loves to paint portraits and landscapes sometimes. Chloe started creating arts in 2015 and she wishes to promote self-love with Arts

Artist Statement

I am constantly exploring with techniques on painting, mixed media, and installation. In my work, I like to capture intangible forms, such as feelings and emotions, by using hard and powerful brushstrokes. I also like to use objects to capture time and space, thus my artworks are mostly abstract. I am inspired by Artists like Banksy, Xu Bing and Van Gogh.
